Before I start this Post I'd like to apologize for not posting in 6 months and am going to try harder to post more often.

I hope everyone is enjoying this Christmas Season!

With all of the rushing around during the Christmas Season it can be hard to keep your mind on what Christmas is really about. So we go to a massive extent to celebrate Jesus's Birth and then we completely forget about it.

So this Christmas really make a point to stop and remember what Christmas is really about.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

Just wanted to Post and Wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

While you are enjoying Christmas, I hope you will keep in mind the real meaning of Christmas, by remembering God's Sacrifice! How he sent his son who died and with his death, purchased salvation for anyone who is willing to repent from their sins and by faith, accept this free gift of Salvation by accepting Christ as their Savior.

We Must Never Forget

We Must Never Forget the Americans who lost their lives 9 years ago Today.

When this tragedy happened I was only 5 so I understood what happened but not the seriousness and the drama of the situation. While I grew up I heard a lot about it but I never realized how BIG it was...until last Thursday we were at our Grandma's house, we saw a great Documentary on 9/11 and this documentary showed how dramatic the whole thing was.

It also showed all of the heroes on "united Flight 93" that kept the White House from being Destroyed as well.

So after seeing this it really made me realize why it is so important for people to not allow the Muslims to Build a Mosque on ground Zero. My question is why are we letting them build a Mosque(which to them is a Symbol of Victory) on the ground where thousands of Americans Died Because of their terrorist actions?!

We need to Honor those who died in the twin towers, the pentagon, and those on United Flight 93 by stopping those who are trying to build the Mosque on Ground Zero.

It's been awesome having an older brother especially since we both have the exact same interests. It's also been great having a Math Teacher to help me whenever I need him.

We All Need To Do Something NOW To Save Our Country

Everyday America is getting worse and worse.

Our Government is getting more and more corrupt,

Our Voters have all been brainwashed into thinking that the Democrat Party's way of thinking will work in this country.

Our Country is at the crossroads to either change this government or completely get taken over by this government which will very soon cause the collapse our Country.

What do we do?

1. FAST and PRAY

2. Support the Tea Party Rallies.

3. Pass out flyer's for your Republican Candidates for your state.

4. Talk to your friends and Neighbors.

5. Help take care of things around your house so your parents have the time to do these things.

And many more areas we can help with but we need to do something NOW or it will be too late.

Alot of people I've listened to say that the way the world has become God will come back soon. But that's NO reason why we should neglect our responsibilities.

It's A Boy!

Friday (Dec 11th) at 12:20 Benjamin Rovirosa was born. He was 7 lbs, 12 oz, 19 in. Benjamin is the tie-breaker in our family, now we have 6 boys and 5 girls. Benjamin was extra special for me because he looks like my twin.

Psalms 127:3-5

3. Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

4. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Having a Balance

I think one of the main ways that Satan tries to draw us away from God is in the area of Sports. Why? Well it is easy, we can get so caught up in sports that we don't even notice the effect on us. Soon we would rather stay home and watch football, baseball, basketball and any other sport instead of going to church. Now I don't think you need to cut out all sports,there just needs to be a balance. The same thing applies to video games. We can get so caught up with wanting to play them. Then video games capture our thoughts and we stop thinking about things that please the Lord. It is the same thing as sports, you need a balance. Well, I guess that will be this month's (November) focus for this blog. Make sure you have a balance with sports, video games, and any other thing that can become too important in our life because then it becomes an Idol and scripture warns us...

My Focus For This Month (October)

My Focus For this Month will be on Forgiveness.

Many times we are upset with our brothers and sisters about little things like them calling you a name, and it is a struggle to forgive them for it but isn't that very little compared to what Jesus forgave us of? So many times in the Bible we did things a lot worse than calling names and he forgave us. So when you are in that situation with a brother sister mom or dad just think What would Jesus DO?

That is My the Focus For This Month.

Every month from this month on I will post my focus for the specific month.

This Month my focus will be on trying to be respectful and obey my parents and my older siblings.

Why this specific Focus? I think that it is one of the most important areas concerning family.

Why so important? Well, it says in the Bible that when you disobey your parents you are disobeying God. How? Because our parents and older siblings are the authority's that God has set up in our lives so when we tell our parents "No!" we are telling God "No!".

So that is the focus for this month.

A Really Good Book or Books

Here are some Devotional Books that I have been reading and they are really good. The first book is about learning the important values of becoming a man.

The second book is about Joyfully working. Here is a customer review off a online store.

This book has been a tremendous blessing to our family and an encouragement for each one of us to work harder and with more joy in the task. I highly recommend it for the whole family!! We have somewhere lost the motivation to work-that being, bringing glory to God, taking care of what He has given us and knowing that a job worth doing is worth doing well. The author uses every day simple stories to bring forth some long needed truths to the areas of work. The author dispels many of today's common thinking patterns concerning work, such as laziness, slothfulness, greediness and half-heartedness. Instead he motivates us to reach for the greater good of a job well done. I highly recommend this book to families who wish to encourage their children (and themselves) to what the true purposes of work are.
